Some photos of me and my family.

Andrew Marchant-Shapiro
La Crosse, Wisconsin
One with my family. Here’s a very new photo that shows me, my new Kogswell, and my out-of-shapeness. Note the subtle BOBishness of the socks. I’d be riding this outside, except that there’s still kind of a lot of glaze ice, and I’d like to keep the bike more-or-less pristine for a little while... I hate January in Wisconsin!
Took my Kogwsell D58 out for her first run today (2/28/04)...only 20 miles, but they were great miles. Here’s to fenders and Carradi, and most of all, to a great lugged frame! Here she is after the ride.

John Meier
Three pictures of me with my bikes.

Patrick Moore
And, to reveal my real face to the world. I’m not really as solemn as I appear; my expression is more one of attention: I am waiting to see how, and if, the hitherto unused timer feature on my camera works.

Lonnie Mulder
Definitely one of my luckier days as a cyclist. My fixed gear Guerciotti decided to give up half of its fork.

Thank you very much!

Here I am in line to cross the Mackinac Bridge after DALMAC 2003. I’m on my least BOBish bike, but at least I’m wearing wool. Also a link to my bike page.

Here are a couple of pictures [a] [b] from this past year’s snowless but chilly Ottawa Santa Claus Parade. I’m the one in the yellow jacket pulling the trailer.
Here I am with my 650B Peugeot (currently in the middle of an overhaul/restoration) in warmer weather last year, stopping by the start of one of the vintage rides organized by iBob/CR list member David Bilenkey:

Jason Nunemaker

This appeared in a recent article in Government Computer News. I haven’t anything recent taken in a cycling context—but then, I spent the better part of 2003 unable to ride anyway.

Kent Peterson
Sammamish Valley Cycle
Redmond WA
Here I am with my lovely wife at the end of my June 2002 fixed gear tour from Washington to Minnesota. This is me at the top of Rogers Pass on the Rocky Mountain 1200 in July of 2002. And here ’s a shot of me taken in the Tumwater Canyon west of Leavenworth on the SIR 1000K brevet in September of 2003.

Marc Pfister
The only picture of me on the web. Luckily, I look pretty sporty in that one.

John Poinsatte

This picture was taken last July in British Columbia while on a Great Parks Ride from Glacier NP to Jasper NP. My son Justin (16 at the time) is on his Univega mtb equipped with slicks. My nephew Taran (15) is on his Jamis mtb similarly equipped. I am pictured with my Litespeed Blue Ridge with Carradice Jr bag (from Beth Hamon I believe). A great trip that we will always remember.

John Price
Aurora, CO
Photos of me (looking a bit goofy on Rivendell and with my saluki lap dog).

Photos here of me, family, pets, and some of my bikes. Also, some of my photo albums on Perry‘s website.
Ed. Note: Tom is an allaround great guy and “responsible” for me having this Miyata Valley Runner.

Here’s two pics of my family and myself at the Tour de Tucson two years ago: I did the first 67 miles, then picked up my wife and daughter and we rode the last fifty together. Big day. Lots of fun.  Also, take a look at my web site (howtostretch.com).

Someone else to snicker at.

My only current on-line photo ... I’m the one on the right.

Mike Sherman
Just before a dry winter ride last winter. Visiting a friend’s new baby (Colin). I’m the one in the yellow shirt and subtle yellow cycling shoes in the last 3 pictures.

Walt Skrzypek
There are a few of me here and on my website. Actually with my bike (on the family page).

Chris Smith
Pix from the our 1998 Woodward Dream Cruise show at Shain Park in Birmingham, MI.

Ken Stagg
Here’s one of the bike, my beloved and me with someone else’s hovel in the background :-)

Peter Storey
Two pix—both from small towns in France. Despite appearances, I’m actually a fairly smiley guy!

Mac Stricklen
Photo taken at the 2003 Wilderness 101.

Steve Sweedler
Here I am at work giving a tour of the landscape. A blooming calendar follows.

Here’s a recent pic of me in my latest incarnation.

Adam Tatarnic
Toronto, ON, Canada
This is what I currently claim to look like on the internet. On a S24HO in September, with part of a bike. Walking to the subway station on Tuesday (no bike, the idea of riding home from the ’burbs after midnight in 0F cold and ice didn’t appeal).

Tym with his lugged steel Schwinn (saddle at perfect BOB height), his two cute kids, and lots of funny captions here.

Some photos here. The first is of me a few years ago heading off to work on my trusty 1965 Schwinn lady’s 3-speed. I rode this bike exclusively for about 2 years after my mountain bike was stolen. This was before I became obsessed with collecting bikes. I had the schwinn only at that time. I still have it, along with 8 other bikes now! The second is of me on my birthday, on the Bradley trail in the Boulder Creek wilderness of the Umpqua Nat’l Forest. Don’t I look happy? I was (it was my birthday, remember?) and I was in the forest!

Here’s me on a cool morning last April. Here’s the motley crew I was going riding with that includes two more BOBs (Kent Peterson and John Muellner) and the latent BOB, Wayne Methner. Pics of each of us and our trusty steeds for the day. The other two pages at the site chronicle our experience riding 380 kilometers in 24 hours for the Fleche Northwest. And last, but not least, I draw your attention to a picture of us at the Sultan bakery. Are we all sporting stupid-big grins because the soup was so good? No, although the soup is GREAT. We look like that because the friendly waitress who offered to take our picture was, well, so flat-out gorgeous that she completely merited the look on John Muellner’s face (he’s on the far right).

Photos here. I would have recieved my Atlantis frame in the first production run which shipped in October of 2000 but gave up place in line as I was shipping out for 6 months in antarctica. Recieved and built this one in August of 2001. No regrets.

The only photos online with me in them right now are a couple of remarkably unflattering shots from last April. I’m the guy in the red jersey throwing his leg over the Carradice. I’m not that pudgy, Honest! It was a cold day and I had 2 thick jerseys on, not to mention 2 pounds of assorted crap in my rear pockets.

Ron and Nancy Wheeler
This is the last photo taken of us from 2003. No, Nancy is not blind. However she just won’t let go of those ancient Bolle riding glasses. Her birthday is coming up though. : ) What? Why are we stumbling through a swamp in our riding gear? One of the last things we had to do during an 8 hour adventure race (Eco Challenge type competition). About 40 teams; 35 miles of punishing mountain biking, orienteering, cold river paddle, muddy wilderness portage, 7 mile route finding run, rope rappel and mystery challenges. Talk about needing a beer!

Addison Wilhite
Sorry for the big images. It’s nice to see some faces out in bobland.

Paul Williams
A couple of self-portrait pictures—one showing the reason why little biking was done last year (Emma Catrin born August 13, 2003)—note Dad with beard! Second picture - showing Dad with Bianchi sans beard for the first time in over 20 years (a New Year’s thing)!!! My wife of 16 years had never seen me with out it—and yes it is true that the camera never lies—there is about 15 lbs to come off Daddy’s frame!! I thought just shaving the beard off might do it—fat chance! You will have to sign in to see them (only takes a couple of seconds to do). Some of my other bike projects are on the site too! Let me know what you think of the Bianchi!

Photos of me on the beach in Small Point, Maine with Lulu and Buster. No bike in photo, but I always bring a bike or 3 when we take our yearly summer pilgrimage from Pennsylvania. Plus, another photo of Lulu and Buster hard at work.

Charlie Young
It is great to see other iBOBs. Here is one of me and my 1954 Hetchin’s from the Classic Rendezvous 2002 Cirque du Cyclisme in Greensboro NC.

The i-BOB cafe has had a nice run but it is no longer being updated and this index page will eventually be taken down [details]. Your individual pages will remain at their current locations unless you ask me to remove them [contact me here]. If you want to download your pictures off my server for your own blog, flickr album, or whatever, you can do so by following these instructions (remember, your photos and page will remain on my server unless you ask me to remove them, so you can continue to link to them if you like):

Mac
Hold down Control key and click on the photo. When you see a pop up menu, select “Save Image to the Desktop” and repeat for any other images you wish to save.

Windows
I don’t use Windows but here is a reasonable guess: Right click on the photo. When you see a pop up menu, select “Save Picture As...” and repeat for any other images you wish to save.
